It would be a lot better, if he could get off the sidelines and influence the election right in front of us, such that having a satellite backup plan isn’t necessary.

Because if China can successfully filter what 1 billion Chinese can access on the web (with the help of the liberals at Google) - Hillary can certainly bring down Rush.

And she’ll gain in popularity doing so.

We’re facing the possiblity of an American dictator - riding on media support and populist balkanization rage.

This is really playing out very badly.

The worse it gets, it seems the more frozen people like Rush become.

I firmly believe that it is the illegals, and the progeny of illegals who stole their way into citizenship here, that are driving McCain's campaign.

That may be a part of it, but not the main reason.

The biggest problem is the crossovers, those Democrats and moderate independents who changed their party affiliation to vote in FL. This also happens in other states.

The Democrat strategy of announcing months ago that the Florida democrat delegates would not be counted because Florida moved up it's Dem primary without permission from the DNC worked perfectly.

For many lib voters in FL, since voting for a Dim meant nothing now, they had nothing to lose by switching parties and voting for the person they think a Dim could beat.

The biggest problem going right now for Conservatives is the view of the candidates comes from the MSM for the vast majority of the voters. We know McCain is evil. They only know that Fred was lazy, Romney is a flip-flopper, Huckabee is overly religious, and Paul is nuts... at least they have that last one in common with the more educated.

This is true. I personally know people, conservatives, who only know that McLame is a "war hero". I'm doing my best to inform them of his stands on amnesty, etc.

I posted the same sentiment earlier on the thread. Rush’s humor was most welcome. I was disappointed in the FL primary results and Rush’s “comic relief” was a great way to start the show.

Of course that is part of it. But you have to remember, Fred's ratings did start to go up the more people saw and heard him. I do believe he could overcome the obvious MSM bias if people had more opportunity to see and hear him. Only problem was he started way to late.

The way things are going, anyone wanting to run for President will have to start campaigning the day after a President is sworn in.

I found a sign up page. I would prefer to go down and volunteer. I think I’ll check with the Warren County GOP chair, in Belvidere. BTW, Mitt’s site seems to be loading slow today.
