AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, from behind the golden EIB microphone, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"Can you say McCain-Finegold that in theory could be used to shut down Free Republic?"
Sure, as long as the FCC is packed by McCain or Hillary appointees.

You and the other Fredheads who voted for Fred even after he dropped out are responsible for John McCain being the Republican frontrunner. I hope you are happy.Sheesh!!! How could I do that if I'm a Texas resident?

LOL!
I think it was a melding of my current general obsession with politics, and what I do for a living.

Then McCain needs to hint at a kickass VP pick, someone who can win ‘12.
But he won’t do that, he’ll pick a liberal, maybe even an actual RAT.

Oh, those burned bridges of bipartisanship. Uh no, those burned bridges within the GOP. Rush's "hero" Ronaldus Maximus never did that, and thus Ronaldus Maximus's shining legacy, unlike what looks to be Rush's bitter one.
I'm posting this at 1:09 PM EST.

Fred's poor showing was his own fault. I think his strategy of waiting so long to announce put him at a disadvantage that he just could not get out of. No it was the constant attack by the MSM and people buying into, just like people buying into that stupid Huckster.
