AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, from behind the golden EIB microphone, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Romney is reaching out more than anybody else running to conservative voters.
I have been ratcheted from Hunter to Fred to now leaning, out of desperation, to Mitt. It's been an ugly ride. As Rush just said it's a candidate's responsibility to make his/her positions clear; and the current front runners have not made it clear that they are conservative enough for me. I will be watching.

I find these callers who suggest Rush should do this or that (in support of their candidate, of course) tiresome.Me too Bah.
It's so obvious they don't listen to Rush more than when he's in the news.
To: BRK
Rush should have that in his monologue everyday. This putrid party obviously does not understand what it does mean to be Conservative!

Hey, Dane. Do I sense some contempt for Conservatives. Or just True Conservatives, which apparently McCain now claims to be?
Oh, those blowhards. Always talking about Conservative stuff. When will they ever shut up?
No I have contempt for blowhard conservatives. You all have burned bridges and now you are moaning about the damage you have wrought.
BTW, I don't how long this post will take to show up on this thread.
I have been put into FR purgatory, where every reply I write must go through a FR central bureau first.
It's about 12:55 PM EST as I hit the post button.

What do the “take a stand” folks want Rush to do? ... come out for someone he can’t unreservedly recommend? I don’t understand what the “stop waffling” contingent want him to say beyond what he’s already said.

Exactly and honestly I don't think it would affect the race anyway. Rush, Levin et al have been hammering McLame for weeks now and he still won SC an Florida. National Review endorsed Romney. That did nothing for him. Fact is there is NO candidate for Conservatives to enthusiastically get behind. Romney is the anti-McLame....less for Romney and more anti-McLame.

The main reason that we may be facing a McCain presidency is because the establishment is controlling this.
I firmly believe the reason we may be facing a McCain Presidency is the other parties candidates: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. The idea of either of those two becoming the President of the United States has scared the GOP into voting for who is most electable instead of voting for who is most deserving.

I thought he was bringing up Rush’s unwillingness to endorse a candidate, but Rush’s response and segue into a commercial have me confused.

Hmmm... I thought Huckabee was the only true conservative. Not according to Rush. He said many times there is no true conservative running.
He also said, well before South Carolina, that Thompson was the most conservative. Not a true conservative, but the most conservative.

To: TSchmereL
The Hunter and Huckabee supporters are really angry with Rush. I supported Hunter and I am NOT one bit angry with Rush.... The 'majority' will get what they want and deserve.... watch and see.

When hightech turns China into a free democracy, then I'll concede the point. Until then, I see technology as being much more likely to be used as a weapon against freedom. Especially in the hands of a totalitarian state.
We'll see how much technology is protecting your freedom when President Hillary orders everyone to have a homing chip implanted in them...
