AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, from behind the golden EIB microphone, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Are there any statements from Fred lately? I haven’t seen or heard a peep from him since his announcement to drop out.

“I think Rush should call on Fred Thompson to endorse Romney. Fred should put his mouth where our money is.”
Laura Ingraham had a better thought this morning: She thinks Mitt needs to reach out to Thompson and offer him the V.P. then come out publicly and announce that Thompson would be his running mate. :-)

I suspect Rush will point out that McCain only won by five, and had to win among liberal and moderate Republicans in order to do so.If he does, he will be pointing out facts, as usual.

We know as little about the Repub. party bureaucracy as we do about the Education Department.
They are remote, unknown, operate behind the scenes and ignore their constituency. Like any huge bureaucracy, they do what they like.
We need more information about them.
We have plenty of info on the Democrats. The MSM covers them and talk show hosts slam them (deservedly) and cover their activities without end.
But the Republican elite remains unknown, remote, unresponsive and scary.
They need exposure and lots of it.
I wish he would go over the Repub. organization state by state. I don’t even have any idea how I would begin to contact them.
They sure don’t bother contacting me.
But the Democratic outreach toward their voters is constant and insistent.
