His beat-down on Huckabee is what has led to the McCain surge. McCain won Florida with the votes of pro-abortion voters, non-church goers, open borders advocates and other assorted liberals. Are these the people you contend once supported Huckabee but, because of Rush, switched over to McCain?
To: nutmeg
Hi everyone—just got here. Is there still hope for Romney? I’ll try to catch up on the thread.

Yes ... Huckabee will now stay in the race with the express purpose not to win but to prevent a Romney win.

All he is doing these days is talking about himself day in and day out, what's ironic is that he's stated on more than one occassion that he doesn't like to talk about himself, go figure.

The Fred vote is smaller than McCain’s margin of victory.

Mort Kondrake couldn’t wait to get his smarmy little attack on Rush out of his mouth last night...him and Barnes are just another two former conservatives who have turned into the usual Beltway Liberal Pod People.

Last night, a poster from Florida, said that there was a news reporter covering a voting station who reported that he talked to voters who claimed that they were independents who changed to Republican at the voting station and the woman registrar said that she was told that day, that she should allow voters to change their registration in order to vote.
I’d like someone to ask Rush about this.

I'll be voting for Romney on Super Tuesday.Good for you!
What is needed in the upcoming left leaning states that are voting on Super Tuesday is for a record turnout of conservatives. Just a few percentage points can change everthing.
Me thinks the national and local RNC offices have dropped the ball in getting more people out to vote.

Fred really disappointed me.
His “reluctance” was too obvious. It killed him.

How to take back the GOP? Get involved at the local levels. Become an elected Precinct Committeeman (or in some states its called Block Captain or Precinct Captain) Put in the leadership YOU want, not what is put before you by a smoky backroom.
I say we have something similar to "American Idol" where we have all kinds of people try-out for Senate and House offices in every state. These people will demonstrate their values, beliefs and ability to win and be a leader in front of a panel of judges. We will place all of the winners from every state on all ballots in 2010. Just some musing.
