Kohut mostly ignores the fact that in nine of the ten African nations surveyed in 2007--countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda--strongly favorable views of the United States are the rule.

we are tuely living in an alternative universe than reality due to the media’s twisting of the truth. Bush has had a remarkably successful term in many areas, but the majority do not know we have been in an extended economic growth period, that we have changed the battlefield to curtail terrorist activities, and smaller successes like this one. Instead, we are likely saddled with a depressing matchup of Hillary vs McCain, which is exciting to few on either side...and Hillary will probably win due to the ‘failures’ of the Bush administration.

History will be very good to GWB. Sadly it will probably be viewed through a prism of a WMD attack somewhere.

Viewers were not told, and no one seemed inclined to tell them, that Tatu Msangi and her daughter Faith quite literally owe their lives to the Bush administration.

Wow! It's amazing that they were able to take up a collection and get $15 billion!

Oh, wait...maybe it should read "the Bush Administration and the American taxpayers"

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again.

Even though he is at 33% approval rating, I predict that 2 years from now we will come to appreciate the great things he has done. I fear that no matter who wins this election, there is such derangement on the part of the left that they will tear this country apart. A Hillary Clinton administration will catastrophic. She will undo all things Bush and will implement the kind of governance that she accuses Bush of doing. FBI files, domestic spying, politicizing the Justice Department, forget 10 fired attorneys, ALL will go just as she did before. There will be pure havoc in this country if run by her all as a liberal vendetta against Bush. If the Republicans (McCain or Romney) win the left will go equally berserk. Both John Paul Stevens and Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg are in their late 80’s or in poor health. The left will pull out all the stops to block the appointment of of even a moderate republican and will create chaos again.

Mark my words in 2 years Bush will be vindicated in spite if his flaws. And he will be missed.
