McCain was assisted by hundreds of thousands of Democrats and independents who switched party identification over the last 2 months so they could influence the Republican race, since the Democrats pulled out of Florida.
Had it not been for that, Romney would have won.

Care to provide any evidence or links to back this statement up? All I can say is remember how we stopped the immigration bill last year dead in it’s tracks. The DC GOP establishment shuddered at the outcry and quickly changed their tune. Do you think you’ll have that same power with Hillary as president?

His Robo-Lies and out right lies gave him the win. And Katheryn Jean Lopez at NRO thinks Romney had negative ads. And these NRO people are suppose to be the smart ones.

Especially in the Hispanic community with the aid of the two Florida Reps and Mel Martinez.

Exit polls do show moderates and proabort voters went for mcCain. McCain also won in Miami-Dade, he got a huge margin there far beyond anything Romney could do elsewhere. What did it? Proamnesty Senator Martinez put calls around in Spanish for McCain (CNN reported), lots of robocalls went out. That, plus Gov Crist helped McCain go over the top.

The only hope to stop McCain is for conservatives to 'come together on Mitt'.

Voters registered as indepenents were not supposed to be allowed to vote today...but the precincts got the word to let them vote.

Governor Crist campaigned for McCain...so I guess the gov got his way to give his candidate the extra help he needed!!

That logic will work really well in the general election. We just insist that only conservative republicans can vote! It'll be great.

Please start living in the real world. Preferably sometime before the end of the year.

hahahahahah You are kidding me! McCain didn't win by some grand conspiracy, he ran a better campaign and got the votes... pure and simple. Some folks here are starting to sound like Gore supporters after the 2000 election. There is no conspiracy here, trying to suggest there is is just nonsense. May make you sleep better at night believing that some conspiracy exists, but its not true.

In 2004 when FLA was very important to the dems there were about 700K people voting in the demo primaries..

9,391,597 total registered voters — 42% Dem., 39% Rep other, 19% none

This year

about 1.6 Million people voted in the democratic primary

10,208,431 total registered voters — 41% Democratic, 37% Republican
3% Other

Can I see a source for you’re statement that hundreds of thousands of dems jumped parties to vote?
