This is not surprising, and many were expecting it. If McCain is President, look for Giuliani to have an important role, perhaps as Attorney General. But it’s very unlikely that we will see a McCain/Giuliani ticket, given that conservatives are uneasy with McCain as it is.

More likely a McCain/Crist ticket.

Crist was a kingmaker.

Not so fast. While Rudy would be an outstanding AG, he can help a McCain ticket undermine Piano Legs in the northeast, which is golden.

Whomever McCain chooses to run with him, they will be set up for 2012 because I can’t see McCain going for two tours at his age.

Thank you, CF. I think Rudy will more likely be used in the role that Bush is using Clinton and his father right now (and Blair in Europe) - kind of as a super secretary of state. I think a cabinet appointment is less likely because McCain would have to expend a lot of political capital and Rudy would go through hell with his personal life.

It will be like 2006, but on a much larger scale. McCain will drag down the other Republicans running for congress as well. The base will stay home or vote elsewhere, like many did in '06.

What in God’s name does the GOP and the RNC care about them??
They just got a McCain win in Florida, and Florida is no liberal state at all.

It is going to be an unvarnished disaster.
I expect a 57 seat Democrat Senate, and additional loses in the House.

That is enough to pass every aspect of the most leftist socialist agenda.
