Romney will NOT switch on immigration.

Before he left office in MA he ordered the State Police to pick up illegals on the highways.

overturned immediately by Gov Deval Patrick, Dem, when he took office

I’m sorry, but your opinions, by themselves, are worthless and innacurate.

Fox keeps bouncing back in forth between McCain and Romney. Right now Romney ahead by less than 100 votes.

Foxnews saying later polls may favor McCain so it may be a long night. Although now we’re hearing once the absentees come in it could give the edge to Romney. Frankly they know about as much as we do at this point.

I apologize. I was attributing a post that declared McCain the winner to you. After searching your posts I see that my memory failed me. It wasn’t there.

Again I apologize.

You have the dnc script down pat.

The challenge for the GOP candidate is to redefine the race in the next 10 month. Many stats are trending back in the right direction lately. Those identifying with the GOP is going back up. Iraq opinions are on the rise, etc. The election will be a forward looking one, with each candidate making a case for the future. The voters will view each candidate with recent memories intact. Bottom line is Americans will choose between a winning strategy on the WOT, or choosing to change to a losing strategy.

CNN seems to be getting the results updated faster than the state.

They show it 31% to 31%

Jason, I understand all you're saying....and the liabilities you've noted have merit. But I think you fail to take into account the problems that are happening on the other side. Things are really swirling down over there, too...the teen-idol like worship of B. Hussein Obama is only excelled by the machiavellian machinations of Hitlery and her Husband.

Many white males in the Democrat party are NOT happy with either of the two front runners. They're not necessarily racist or sexist--they're just not happy with either candidate.

I am not as pessimistic as Fred Barnes or you. :) I think we've got a chance, if we nominate the right person.

Like you said, most of the country doesn't think as hard as we do about the issues. But they DO look at who the candidates are as PEOPLE....and I think (you may disagree) that Mitt is the most appealing to the average Joe out there.

Anyway, I hope this is a good night for Mitt. I know I voted for him. :)
