However, Bushs vow to veto any tax increases could have ramifications for Democratic leaders who have promised to pay for any new proposals they advance.
The speech drew sharp jabs from Democrats.
I thought he had stopped drinking, House Ways and Means Chairman Charles B. Rangel , D-N.Y., said in response to Bushs comments on extending tax cuts. I think there are certain things that the president just has to say, even though he knows that theres absolutely no chance.

Ah, yes. I’d been trying to figure out where I’d heard Mike Huckabee’s cheap-shot style of political discourse before, and now it’s clear. Huck is Charlie Rangel, Jr.

If a Republican had said that about a Democrat, it would be on every news outlet, and would be accompanied by outrage.
What do we hear about this?

That man is black trash, pure and simple.
To: Billthedrill
Rangel was grinning like a Cheshire cat last night during the SOTU.
I’d love for someone to dig up some dirt on Rangel, what a jerk.
