I think what we have here are too many Conservative Pharisees. Despite a long litany tonight of elegant conservative principals. The Pharisees treat us to the gnats they find unholy.
I don’t mind saying that these conservatives are truly anti conservatives in the sense that nothing could more thoroughly discredit our cause than to have such unreasonable internal dissent. I stress unreasonable. Criticism is fair but there is too much lunacy against Bush from allegedly Conservative sources.
I don’t believe these sources to be conservative.
How tough is it to get up on a soapbox that has no consequences. President Bush doesn’t have that luxury so he has to make calls that are not popular to anybody.
He could take the easy route and kick it down the street but rather attempts to solve it knowing he will be crucified no matter what he proposes.
That is what Great Leaders do, Reagan, Lincoln, Washington, Truman and President George W Bush.

You stated this so truthfully. I don't think they are, either. They live to do one thing, and one one thing only...bitch and moan.
It matters not the person, or cause...in EVERY instance, EVERY conversation, they will find someone/something that they will trash and slander. They are, I believe, very miserable, pitifully unhappy people, I would feel sorry for them if they warranted any sympathy, they don't. IMO
For every conservative position he outlined, he also outlined some decidedly liberals ones as well.
