Most of my “Greatest Generation” relatives served in the USAAC/USAAF. There were some non-USAAC/USAAF personnel in the bloodline. I have one family member who served with Patton. One who was a Marine in the Pacific. One who was a Seabee in the Pacific. One who served in the US Merchant Marine in either the Pacific.
