Don't you just love his fake double-talk about cutting spending while simultaneously proposing all these spending increases? Just look at the spending increases he mentions in this speech.:

1. "And to open the doors of these schools to more children, I ask you to support a new $300 million program called Pell Grants for Kids."

2. "Let us fund new technologies that can generate coal power while capturing carbon emissions....Let us continue investing in advanced battery technology and renewable fuels to power the cars and trucks of the future. Let us create a new international clean technology fund, which will help developing nations like India and China make greater use of clean energy sources. "

3. "So I ask the Congress to double Federal support for critical basic research in the physical sciences and ensure America remains the most dynamic nation on earth."

4. "So we are expanding funding for this type of ethical medical research."

5. "We have also changed the way we deliver aid by launching the Millennium Challenge Account. This program strengthens democracy, transparency, and the rule of law in developing nations, and I ask you to fully fund this important initiative."

6. "And tonight, I ask the Congress to support an innovative proposal to provide food assistance by purchasing crops directly from farmers in the developing world, so we can build up local agriculture and help break the cycle of famine."

7. "And I call on you to double our initial commitment to fighting HIV/AIDS by approving an additional $30 billion over the next 5 years."

If that last one doesn't get us and tell us that he's a hypocritical liar and a FAKE CONSERVATIVE, then nothing will.

Whether you like it or not, the Dems own congress. Perhaps, you should run for President and see how a straight conservative candidate does. Likely worse than Duncan Hunter.

You seem to miss the Nucular Power proposals. That is the backbone of his energy proposal. Course that doesn’t feed your BDS or feed your conservative superiority complex..

Pray for W and Our Troops

I tend to look at spending as part of GDP.

There are no instances of Republican Presidents cutting spending.

Bush actually did work hard to control spending far more than any known political alternative.

Home security and war were major justifiable spending increases.

His statements on Freedom, support for soldiers, the value of Human Life, justices dedicated to the Constitution, tax cuts, vetos of pork spending all suggested to me rather strongly that he is a conservative.

In contrast, your post strikes me as a FAUX conservative. You are someone who likes to rant like you care but in reality you have little grasp on politics.

You trot out your microscope and think others will give you approval for what you found.

Take a look at the bigger picture and you will see something important:

Youre Wrong
