Just the fact that the economy came back after the attack and the start of the war is a miracle. That’s why folks can flaunt and spew in their safety, drive while b*tching about the price of gas, sleep soundly at night.

I don’t know about you, but it wasn’t so easy in 2001... to hear a plane fly over your head.

You got that right Brother! I remember those warm September nights with my windows open and not a sound
all day and all night except the Bells ringing in my Parish for the folks who had perished on the planes.

The sound of that silence is one that I will never forget, nor forgive.

I looked at a plane flying overhead today and remembered going to a HS football game w/no planes wondering what would happen if one came flying in. Most of us have forgotten the days following the attack to our detriment.

The man has fought the enemies both foreign and domestic w/a titanium backbone. For that we should be forever grateful.
