lol!
the people on here who hate Bush makes people like me wonder why the heck i stay here. This man has saved this nation in more ways than one, just because he isn’t a carbon copy of the know-it-alls on this site they don’t like him. well, goody for you, wonder if you’ll like an obama or hitlary any better?
CNN says 8 pm EST:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/28/sotu.main/index.html
The article includes some excerpts as well.
I’d be interested to know the drinking game keywords as I watch the SOTU.
This could be the main clue of what is coming. Our handlers don’t often bother to clue us in. Not good to skip it out of spite.
He’s going to *praise* Pelosi? Please tell me that “praise” is now a euphamism for “sending someone to jail” or something of that nature.
Yes, I agree. President Bush deserves better from Free Republic..
MARRY ME JESSICA ALBA!!!
I have ZERO interest in what George W Bush has to say tonight especially since he is supposed to send praise Pelosi’s way.
Mercifully, it is his last State of the Union address. Perhaps he will admit that Peggy Noonan is right and that his great act as President was to destroye the coalition that was the Republican Party.
If 8 o’clock, then it is coming right up. Wouldn’t want to miss it while shoveling snow.
That is total BS.
Bush to praise House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.....
I don’t think I will watch, but, I would like to see some of the real heros before convicts picking up trash on the highway get seats in the balcony next to Bill. TNT has reruns of L&O, where I may catch some of the character of a real president.
Like it or not, it’s about the country and about you. Ignore at your peril.
Drudge headline tells half the story. He will praise the bipartisan stimulus package (which I agree is really redistribution), but in somewhat typical fashion, Drudge is telling you a half truth.
I for one am still thankful that we have had President Bush for the last eight years; he isn’t perfect, but neither is anyone who posts on this board. He has kept us safe, he has gone on the attack to change the face of the ME, and I am still quite proud of him.
I’m glad to see that all the republican candidates have been praising the President for all he has accomplished in terms of national security, and each time they do it is better for all of us.
Nope. It is the honest to God truth.
You changed the game, sir.
With the help of the bravest and the best people America has to offer, you took on a fight alot of America still refuses to acknowledge we are even in, and won.
You did it against the onslaught of a shamelessly agenda driven media and a political party that thinks political power is more important than doing the right thing.
And you shoved it down their throats!
Good for you, Mr. President and thank you!
I’d like to see him tell us again how much we need a comprehensive solution to the illegal immigration problem.
What little gem is he going to propose to give amnesty this time?
What happened to the fence to placate us?
What happened to the newly trained border patrol?
What happened to all of those prosecutions of emoployers other that the odd well-publized arrests, followed by immediate release of all those caught?
I’d like to see him now, in the 11th hour, tell us how he will hold the line on spending.
I’d like to see him, except now that he knows that there is no authority to whom he must answer, I believe I will hear nothing about the state of the union that will give me confidence.
He will tell us how nice it is to get things done, which means, how nice it is to pass democratic legislation so he can look cooperative.
Georgie, you’ve lost me because you ran under false pretenses, either as to the policies you would follow or as to your abilities to lead from the front.
