Look for him on one of the outbound lanes of the NAFTA superhighway (aka the Border).

Hwy 281 to Reynosa, Hwy 59 to Nuevo Laredo, or maybe I-37 and Hwy 77 to Matamoros?

Interesting town name..... Three Rivers. I hadn’t heard of it that I can remember. Looked it up to find the three rivers that converged in the area.......

Atascosa
Frio
Nueces

With the Nueces being the one carrying on to the Copus Christi and the Gulf.

Texas also has some 22 Federal Correction Facilities within it’s boundries... Good income for the local ecomonies.

The Three Rivers facility is in the middle of nowhere. I don’t know where the people who staff it live.

There’s not an economy there to benefit. It’s just a bunch of big ranches and then this federal prison.

Nolan Ryan has a steakhouse and motel not too far from there, but it’s turned into a bit of druggie hangout in the past 10 years.

I haven’t forgotten the fajita meal you owe me. This has been the longest $6 wager that’s been unpaid in FR history.

I guess we’re never both in the same place at the same time.

Been hunting lately? Were you at the FW Straw Poll?

I didn’t get to the FW straw poll. In fact, I didn’t know about it until the night before, but I probably wouldn’t have made the trip anyway.

It’s a long drive.

I did go hunting last month, just south of the Three Rivers facility and bagged my biggest whitetail buck in my life. Which isn’t saying much, since I’d never gotten a whitetail buck in my life. Plenty of does, but I always got the shakes with a buck in my scope.

It wasn’t a super buck, but it was a nice 10 pt with a B&C score of 142. The freezer is full, and the buck is worthy of a wall mount.

Yep, he’s run for the border probably with help from his buddies in San Antonio. You all know that the San Antonio police have given up on downtown and left it to the gangs. Yes, came out in one of their memos.
