McCain’s running mate is going to be Joe Lieberman.
And if McCain is elected president, he will switch parties and become a Democrat.
He would do it to avoid the serious challenge he would face within the GOP for renomination in 4 years.
McCain would move quickly to pump up his Democrat credentials as soon as he takes office.
McCain will make the biggest flip-flop of all: From Republican to Democrat.
Who should I go with? The guy who was for cap and trade two years ago or the guy who is for cap and trade now?
I won’t be voting for Romney this fall, but I do find it interesting that a guy that has been wrong on so many issues and hasn’t changed, is taking a guy to task who at least knows enough to act like he has.
Climate change?
Happens every spring! ;^)
Oh, I'd believe the one that John McCain tells me about! Johnny never lies! /sarc.
Of late, I have been afraid to believe any of them.
McCrazy campiagn has a good point here:
Mitt Romney has proven in this campaign that he will say anything to anyone at any time if he thinks it will help him politically. His stunning capacity to reverse his position on virtually every issue casts serious doubt on his ability to lead. Floridians need to ask themselves: If he changes his position today, what prevents him from reversing himself again tomorrow?
Does it matter?
I believe McCain, which is why I can not vote for him.
From the above link:
McCain said the measure cut tax rates for the wealthy ‘’at the expense of middle-class Americans.’’
As if we needed more evidence Thompson and Hunter quit too soon .
Rudy McRomnabee, of course.
mccain should change his position on global warming because that would be the right thing to do.
There is absolutely nothing John MeCain can say about himself or anyone else that would move me to vote for him, ever. And I do mean ever.
“So which Romney are we to believe?”
It really doesn’t matter. Mitt as President won’t be half as bad as John, and that’s what really matters.
Romney has pretty consistently used the hypocritical Clintonian tactic of attacking his opponents where he himself is vulnerable — this is yet another example.
Of course, I’m not shedding any tears for McQueeg, either. I don’t have a horse in this race — a pox on both their houses.
- After seeing you deliberately lie about Romney's intentions in Iraq....
... one must conclude that indeed - your "straightTalk" is bent.

With Romney, at least he will have to flip to be on the wrong side. McCain is already far worse on global warming even if Romney does flip back.
It IS true that Mitt has flipflopped a lot.
But, ON THESE TWO ISSUES, McCain has resolutely taken the leftist position: Gore-Bal Warming kool-aid drinker and pro-gas-tax.
So McCain’s hard left (but resolutely so) positions on these issues somehow makes him preferable to conservative voters to Mitt’s flipflopping? That’s not my view. They both are awful, but I’d rather take my chances (on these issues, anyway) with Mitt. 50% chance is better than zero of getting a conservative stance.
