Same here. I’m not voting for McCain. Period. Never.
If he gets the nomination (which I doubt) I’ll be staying home, writing in, or voting 3rd Party.

There’s nothing anyone could say to make me vote for or support McCain again, especially McCain himself. As to voting for Romney...I dunno yet. It depends on how bad it looks in November. Makes me wonder how it was we come down to these people to choose from and long for a worthy third party to support.

Which should you support a guy who goes at things rationally, develops concepts and then examines them carefully before finally deciding or a guy who flies airplanes into bays, powerlines and tree clumps and cannot stay on track for any length of time without exhibiting compulsive and impulsive behavior? Normally I would go with Oscar Madison over Felix Unger but seeing as how I might actually have to live with Oscar's decisions for 4 years prudence dictates a vote in favor of Felix.

The diagram is the name “McCain” with an arrow pointing down.

No, Republicans would easily vote for him. I have forever seen here that whoever can put an “R” by their name they will vote for. They don’t vote for conservative Constitutionalists rather whoever the Republican leadership council chooses for them. They will forever vote for “the lesser of two evils”. They could have Lucifer(D) running against Beelzebub(R) running against St. Peter(Constitution Party) and They would vote for Beelzebub.

I have said I will vote for McCain.
But I sure don’t blame anyone who won’t.
He is the least likely to lose in the general, thats why he gets my vote.

Here are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:
Never forget McCain not only pushed the amnesty bill, he refused to allow exclusions for the worst of the lot. And he unloaded
his infamous temper on his mild-mannered senate colleague for having the audacity to introduce this amendment.
Apologies to any who feel I am spamming this message on campaign threads, but it is an important message on a key vote which needs to get out.

After voting for Governor Benedict Arnold once (during the Recall election) I can tell you that Romney raises the same red flags that Arnold does.
He seems to be the type that will do and say anything to pander/get along with whatever crowd he is addressing.
I do not see him as a man of principle.

Both my Senators from PA, Casey Jr. and Specter, voted against.
Both are embarrassments.

"He (McCain) is the least likely to lose in the general, thats why he gets my vote." Can you picture the grouchy OLD Republican warhorse up against the young, dynamic, progressive JFK/MLK-like Obama? Especially seeing as how about half of all Republicans hate McCain, while dreamy-eyed Democrat young America is swooning for Obama? And the full-court media press for Obama that will be in effect? Can you say Dole vs Clinton redux?

Well then, perhaps McCain can approach Hillary about being her VP running mate after he loses the GOP nomination.:)

If its against Obama, I’d give the edge to Obama.
Then again, he would beat all the candidates that are left in the GOP.
The only thing that would same McCain against Obama is that Obama is determined to lose the war. Americans aren’t fond of that, I hope.
I think we all need to hope it will be against Hillary.
