Can you picture the grouchy OLD Republican warhorse up against the young, dynamic, progressive JFK/MLK-like Obama? Especially seeing as how about half of all Republicans hate McCain, while dreamy-eyed Democrat young America is swooning for Obama? And the full-court media press for Obama that will be in effect? Can you say Dole vs Clinton redux?

If its against Obama, I’d give the edge to Obama.

Then again, he would beat all the candidates that are left in the GOP.
The only thing that would same McCain against Obama is that Obama is determined to lose the war. Americans aren’t fond of that, I hope.

I think we all need to hope it will be against Hillary.
