Both Kilpatrick and Beatty testified in a trial last summer that they did not have a physical relationship in 2002 and 2003, when the messages were reportedly sent. The 14,000 messages examined by the newspaper reveal the two carried on a flirty, sometimes sexually explicit dialogue about where to meet and how to conceal their numerous trysts.
“I’m madly in love with you,” Kilpatrick wrote on Oct. 3, 2002.
“I hope you feel that way for a long time,” Beatty replied. “In case you haven’t noticed, I am madly in love with you, too!”
On Oct. 16, 2002, Kilpatrick wrote Beatty: “I’ve been dreaming all day about having you all to myself for 3 days. Relaxing, laughing, talking, sleeping and making love.”
Kilpatrick is married with three children. Beatty was married at the time of the messages and has two children. She has served as the Kilpatrick administration’s chief of staff since the mayor took office in 2002.

“I painfully regret the devastation that the recent reports have caused to the citizens of Detroit, to my co workers, to the Mayor’s family and to my family and friends,” Beatty wrote in the letter.
So it was the “reports” that caused all this trouble, not her and not Kwame. For her to resign so easily, she either got a huge severance package or is planning an unbelivable lawsuit against the City of Detroit.
The $8.5 million will be NOTHING by the time this is all over.
This is odd, no mention of “democrat” in the entire article. Very strange.

Lost in all this pillow talk is the fact that the good mayor and his sweetie also planed the fireing of Detroit police officers. These officers were investigatimg the good mayor for corruption,they lied about that too but it didn’t fit the msm template so we get the sex angle.......

When cities, counties or states continue to REELECT crooks to office -— the taxpayers OUTSIDE that politician’s district MUST be made EXEMPT from liability for actions of the corrupt bastards the dumb bastards elect....
I suspect that MUCH of the expense of running Detroit — must come from OUTSIDE the city.... The State and Federal taxpayers will probably have to pay for this ignorant POS and his corruption.....
In a city such as Detroit -— the ENTIRE liability should come right out of the city’s budget...
- Cut taxpayer funded services to the citizens
- Cut city employees from the payroll
- Cut salaries to city employees
- Cut, Cut, Cut -—— wherever required to pay off the liability...
Citizen’s actions must result in the appropriate CONSEQUENCES....
