Rush: 'We've Gone from Bull Connor to Bull Clinton'
NewsBusters | Mark Finkelstein

Leave it to Rush to sum up the political situation in a pithy, high-impact way. Here's how Limbaugh opened today's show, speaking of the way Bill Clinton injected race into the campaign with his comparison [view video of Clinton making his statement here] of Obama's South Carolina primary victory to Jesse Jackson's twin wins in the Palmetto State in the '80s:

We've gone from Bull Connor to Bull Clinton.

“Did it ever occur to anyone that just maybe, deep down, Bill doesn’t want Hillary to become POTUS?”

If he did that she’d never sleep with him again.....oh I get it, smart plan Bill.

Rush didn't want to be on cnn this morning. He said the audience was too small to justify his getting up early! LOVE IT!!!

LOL! Thanks, I missed hearing Rush say that today. ;-)

"When asked about what he thought about Hillary becoming Pres, he stated under his breath "jokingly", "I'd slit my throat"."

Tempting, but I still don't want the Beast to be POTUS.

Bill is dieing for Hillary to be President. He’s not getting the attention he wants where he’s at now. Damn right, he wants back in the White House and flying around one Air Force One.

“So funny, Rush just said that the Dems are longing for another Camelot but the Clintons are not Camelot—they are the evil knights hiding out in the woods.”

Right now they look more like the 3 headed knight from Holy Grail.
