Really? The last I had heard, the US Attorney for that district is none other than DEMOCRAT Parick Fitzgerald, the same guy that prosecuted Scooter Libby!
I forgot about Fitzgerald. That guy is a first-rate jerk. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was angling for the Attorney General’s job. It also wouldn’t surprise me if that’s been discussed privately. Since his only qualification for the office is prosecuting Republicans who haven’t done anything, I don’t think he’s a very good candidate.
