I forgot about Fitzgerald. That guy is a first-rate jerk. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was angling for the Attorney General’s job. It also wouldn’t surprise me if that’s been discussed privately. Since his only qualification for the office is prosecuting Republicans who haven’t done anything, I don’t think he’s a very good candidate.
You make an excellent point. By HRC’s way of thinking, Fitzgerald would make an excellent US AG (except for the fact he’s male).
