I didn't see the Dodgers there that year, but I was there for a couple of games too. I remember going with my father one night and having great box seats behind the first base dugout. The next night I went by myself and bought general admission. I brought the stub from the night before and sat in the same seat. Your hotel was probably the Hilton.

yes, it was the Hilton. Also went to Commisky Park in Chicago to see the Yankees. Stottlemyre pitched, Yogi was the manager.
Later that season went to Yankee Stadium to see the Yankees play the Cardinals in the World Series. Sat behind Tim McCarger's parents behind the Cards dugout.
But I digress.
Point is, the older you get the more vividly you remember things further in your past, and the less reliable your near term memory becomes.
