Voting depends on where you are a citizen. My son has lived in England for over twenty years, however he is an American citizen, not a British citizen. He gets an absentee ballot sent to him from this country and he votes.
American citizens living in Israel are the same. Doesn’t matter where you live, if you’re an American citizen living anywhere, you may still vote just as if you were living in your home country.
No problem with that---your son is responsibly exercising his citizenship.
The point here is about people being flown into the US to vote.........possibly voting again and again.
