I can understand why Romney would want to pick someone with foreign policy experience, but I’d much rather see a VP candidate with a political future beyond that office. Governors Sanford or Pawlenty come to mind.
Pawlenty the "global warming" governor.
Yep, being that he's a Republican he's just got to be a true conservative flowing with conservative values. /s
Pawlenty is on the global warming bandwagon, pandering to the eco-freaks, according to Jason Lewis.
Blunt would be good. He’s truly conservative, and he’d be about 46 at the end of two terms.
“...but Id much rather see a VP candidate with a political future beyond that office”
Oh I dunno, it seemed to work w/Cheney as VP.
WHO or WHO? I would expect any presidential candidate to announce, after nomination, a nationally known figure who would seem to be likely to complement the Pres. candidate's talents, as well as help attract voters from a strategic area.
Romney-Barbour? Two guys who get the job done and don’t blame others.
I think that Michael Steele from Maryland, has a lot of potential.
I agree—If Romney gets it, I hope he goes for someone that is healthy with a lot of energy.
