It’s as if “sharpie” Catholics passed the word that if you don’t actually swallow the Host during Sunday communion, you get to cheat on your wife during the following week.

And there wouldn’t be just one, but an entire “authorized” directory of these loopholes and workarounds sanctified by “religious scholars” and “Catholic jurisprudence” as meeting the letter of the Bible but accomodating less-than-savory human desires while still keeping one safe from apostasy and hellfire.
