Is Jesus a God?Not a God. He is God. There is only one.
Whatcha think he meant?
He was refering to what He did in the incarnation, not what He did previously. (He was refering to the things they'd seen Him do.)

God's ways, are not our ways, and I think we tend to deem ourselves a bit too important when we think we can understand the nature of God, let alone sum it up in a few sentencesBINGO
Let alone decide who is, and who is not, Christian -

cant comment on Eastern Orthodox or Catholic though Im partial to the periwinkle and incense of the Slavs I enjoyed the incense of a Byzantine Catholic Mass several times.
Regarding Catholics in general, the more traditional or orthodox, the more their fidelity; whereas the more trendy and progressive, the more likely they are to become apostate with respect to the core doctrine. This Pope, bless his heart, has a real healthy dose of tradition running through his veins. When he finally overturns the rotten fruits of Vatican II, the Church will be healed.

sorry! I was up all night and read your post as a list of apostate churches, not as a list of those that are not. Don't you hate it when that happens?

Today, at an event in Fort Worth, Texas, leaders of the denomination, which boasts membership by President Bush and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, will consider divesting from all companies that do business with Israel. The article was written on 25 Jan. Today's the 29th. Does anyone know how the actual vote turned out? Does anyone care?

I most certainly do know my bible, but may not know or agree with yours. Mine isn’t a nicely bound edition with gold embossing and factory highlighted foot notes. Mine is actually comprised of about a hundred different publications in over a dozen modern and ancient languages, and copious notes and letters. I’m pretty sure I know what the authors said and meant. At its core it is a message for the masses. It’s beauty is in its simplicity. I just question the divine inspiration of much of what others added to the words spoken by Christ.

I'm really interested in which version of the Word of God you have settled on and how and why. Did the Word of God come directly to you from God or are you relying on the work of fallible mortals who preceded you, including many "Romanists"? Have you read any of the original works of the old or new testaments in their original languages with full knowledge of the regional idiomatic contexts? Have you read the Septuagint scriptures, the Samaratin canon, the gnostic gospels, or the other contemporary writings? Have you read the letters of Athanasius, Bishop of Alexandria? How about the African Synod of Hippo, written in 393, or the edicts of the Councils of Carthage in 397 and 419. Then there is that darn Romanist, Pope Damasus I's Council of Rome in 382, (the Decretum Gelasianum is correctly associated with it). Likewise, Damasus's commissioning of the Latin Vulgate? In 405, Pope Innocent I sent a list of the sacred books to a Gallic bishop, Exsuperius of Toulouse that was asserted to be the edited and final "Word of God" that stood until the full dogmatic articulation of the canon by the Council of Trent of 1546 for Roman Catholicism. Or did you put your faith in the Thirty-Nine Articles of 1563 for the Church of England, the Westminster Confession of Faith of 1647 for Calvinism, and the Synod of Jerusalem of 1672 for the Greek Orthodox? The Word of God is much easier to access than this. Simply place faith alone in Christ alone and let God do all the work.
The Word of God, also known as the LOGOS in Greek, or MEMRA in Aramaic, or Dabar(sp?) in Hebrew. Instead of identifying the Word of God with a man made reading text, it is maybe more fruitful to understand some man made texts, which have been inspired by Him, are identifiable with His WORD.
The is only one Word of God, which has always been, and He is not a God of confusion, but a God of the Living.

En arche en ho logos, kai ho logos en pros ton theon, kai theos en ho logos. "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God" (John 1:1)
Perhaps all subsequent words are superfluous.
To: Natural Law
The Word of God always has been, not to be confused with a human communication scarred by sin. Different languages, even mathematics might be used to express the Word of God, but in order for the believer to understand His Word, one first must have faith alone in Christ alone.
All faith is from God, including doctrine within our mind and heart.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God provides the most immediate access for Him to sanctify our soul and spirit.
One can read 100s of different Bible translations, manuscripts, and Scriptural quotes and never hear the Word of God, while another, through faith alone in Christ alone may read any verse from one of the above and have received the Word of God in his mind, heart, and spirit. This is a work of God the Holy Spirit who is free to sanctify us while we are in fellowship with Him.
The visual perception of a parchment by soulish means is not identical to reading the Word of God through faith in Him.

Ok, then simply tell me what you think Matthew 7:2-5 meant.
And, I will give you some examples of His desire for us to judge,
1Cor. 6:2-3
Prov. 3:21
John 7:24
Jer. 22:3
Phil. 1:107

Specifically, the Greek term usually translated as judge also refers to condemnation, a specific conclusion of judgment, and hence the text probably states that those who condemn others would be condemned. This is in line with the similar wording in the Sermon on the Plain (Luke 6:17-49). In its context it is an admonition that only the perfect can judge perfection, and therefore it is not to be done by anybody other than God because only God is perfect.

I left the Catholic Church once I reached adulthood- found I had a problem with a group that worshiped the church rather than its Creator.
Left the United Methodist Church after 10 years when I realized what a left wing org. it was, including it’s pro-abortion politics.
Left organized religion for good when I- FINALLY- realized that anything devised by MAN WILL disappoint.
I remain a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and trust in God always (except when acting like a spoiled child ;) ), and do so IN SPITE of organized religion.

With all due respect.....I will dare you....NO, I will bet you...whatever you want to bet...you CAN'T go through one normal day without "judging" someone.
I will leave it at that. Give me a day...and a place. I can't wait to collect.

“Where in the world did you get that belief that there are many ways to God?”
Each faith has their own ‘ways’. Their own ‘beliefs’.
what makes you or I so sure ours is the ‘true’ religion?
Jesus was not trying to advance any particular religion.
Can you say that someone of Jewish Faith will not enter heaven?
They don’t even believe that Jesus was The Prophet.
The Bible says they will.
God’s ‘chosen’ people do not practice his ‘chosen’ religion.
Isn’t that odd?

“And you my friend....don’t know your bible.”
So who else would get to ‘judge’ us?
You can’t say JESUS, as it has already been affirmed by ‘proper’ Christians that Jesus and God are the same thing.
Apparently, God has schizophrenia, because Jesus(God) on the cross said, “Father, why hast thou forsaken me?”
