En arche en ho logos, kai ho logos en pros ton theon, kai theos en ho logos. "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God" (John 1:1)

Perhaps all subsequent words are superfluous.

The Word of God always has been, not to be confused with a human communication scarred by sin. Different languages, even mathematics might be used to express the Word of God, but in order for the believer to understand His Word, one first must have faith alone in Christ alone.

All faith is from God, including doctrine within our mind and heart.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God provides the most immediate access for Him to sanctify our soul and spirit.

One can read 100s of different Bible translations, manuscripts, and Scriptural quotes and never hear the Word of God, while another, through faith alone in Christ alone may read any verse from one of the above and have received the Word of God in his mind, heart, and spirit. This is a work of God the Holy Spirit who is free to sanctify us while we are in fellowship with Him.

The visual perception of a parchment by soulish means is not identical to reading the Word of God through faith in Him.

“Perhaps all subsequent words are superfluous.”

Now there’s an understatement, however only a few will acknowledge it.

Although I’d have to give a nod to the Ten Commandments.

And of those, only one is critical.
