Yeah, and I'm sure it was all about scoring pot.

Not heroin, or cocaine, or amphetamines... nope, just pot. /sarc

I have no objection to jailing people for property crimes, although I would like to remind you (for the tenth time, probably) that the cost of drugs is vastly increased by prohibition, and if that if they were decriminalized, prices would plummet and property crimes would be sharply reduced as a result. But, apparently you'd rather tolerate a higher level of property crimes and incarcerate drug users even who don't commit any other crimes, rather than allow people the freedom to make poor choices if they enjoy the temporary result.
