Sent the first ground troops to Viet Nam. He probably should have opened a clinic for sex addiction, and maybe a teenaged Clinton could have checked in.

Excuse me while I gag! A president like her father? What the hell did he ever do? He screwed up the Bay of Pigs which brought us to the brink of nuclear war during the Cuban Missile Crisis and then he got the U.S. hip deep into Vietnam.
Obama would be like her father.
Clueless as Commander-in-Chief.

What the hell did he ever do? JFK? Um, on the positive side, started a revamp of the military, gave the NASA bureaucracy a tangible and measurable goal, and wanted tax cuts (they were passed in memoriam).
On the negative side, protected the runt of the litter that is still screwing up the country to this day (and also got the middle brother killed), Bay of Pigs, and much, much, more.

Well, for one thing, he cut taxes which spurred economic growth.
If liberals were smart, they would claim tax cuts as an idea of their own.
But liberals aren’t very smart.

Everybody thinks he had a great record on civil rights, when the opposite is true. He nominated segregationist judges. He had his brother bug Martin L. King's phone conversations. By assisting Diem's fall, he probably set the course that led to defeat in Vietnam. Kennedy approved the Bay of Pigs fiasco, when doubts about its success were already being voiced in the CIA's inner circle. The Cuban Missile Crisis was far from being a success, since its outcome assured the survivability of Castro's regime. Sure doesn't look like Camelot to me.
