As advocates for life, social conservatives should welcome changes like this, and we must recognize that some of the best advocates for life can be those—like Ronald Reagan and Henry Hyde—who were wrong in the past.

AMEN!

Changing the hearts and minds is much more effective than changing the law, and we should eagerly embrace those who "see the light!"

The new Florida poll shows that Romney has the highest support (30%) of any Republican candidate among Pro-Life voters. Huck was second at 15%.

While generally a true statement, it's not true from the standpoint of being that pre-born baby in the womb whose mom is pro-abortion in an open-season zone upon the womb. Changing hearts is always hit & miss; the coverage of law, while not perfect (as evidenced during the back-alley days), would be favored by the average pre-born baby if they could be polled. We must be their voice.
