So he brings the west to Jordan but leads the Muslim world to hate and destroy the west?

Not exactly how I imagine it will play out.

To add to your post. Queen Noor of Jordan is American (Well, probably not anymore, since she probably had to become a Jordanian citizen to become queen - but she was born and raised an American).

Do you really believe that McCain thinks that Putin is the President of Germany?!

I don't

It was a clear slip of the tongue as he said he met Putin in Germany and that is true and then went on to say Putin the President of Germany which is a very understandable slip of the tongue.

Yep, slip of the tongue-agreed.

Also what Huckabee said about Saddam WMD going to Jordan is a slip of the tongue

During the debate I'd by that but then in the interview afterwards and by his spokesperson after that?

but at least he was brave enough not to buy the liberal lie that Saddam did not have WMD or WMD programs.

EXACTLY!!! Which is why it was sooooo important for him to get it right! So many people have no idea about what Chinese intel, foreign generals, Iraqis, sattelite photos of trucks etc etc etc showed about unknown things going to Syria just prior to the start of the war..... and FINALLY someone speaks up and says to the world...........Jordan.

sigh.

Wasn’t she from Texas? Or spent some time here, at least?

Queen Rania is extremely western in her lifestyle choices.

Noor (Lisa Halaby) is half Syrian (dad was Najeeb Halaby). I believe she grew up in New England.

Beats me ... Ya know, he's the "Huckster"!

Preferred: Foreign policy skills of Richard Nixon, moral uprightness of Jimmy Carter, coalition-building ability of Bill Clinton.

He's actually trying to bolster our current president's failure to find anything in Iraq but we still trash him.

Whatever he was "trying" to do, what he did do was cast an aura of absurdity on the entire notion that Saddam slipped his WMDs out of the country.

If that's what Saddam did do, and evidence turns up, the chances of getting anybody to believe that evidence have been damaged by Huckster's ineptitude.

They simply are not seeing the extreme danger of having a democrat in the White House and many would not give a damn if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama are elected as long as McCain, Huckabee, Romney, or Guiliani are not President, very sad indeed.

Totally agree. And I could understand more when most here were rooting for Fred Thompson, and then started sniping at the other candidates when Fred lost traction. Now he's out, and suddenly most here are for Romney? And they are still bashing Huckabee?

Uh, no, they went to the Bakar Valley in Syria. I thought we all knew that. This guy thinks he’s qualified to dictate US foreign policy? What a joke.

Let’s just say he’s a good candidate for being an important religious figure in the future.

I heard him say it. Unfortunately, most of his supporters will not even realize he was mistaken.

At least he does realize there were WMD's there...I will give him credit for that!

Yes, too bad Huckabee couldn’t get it right. I did like how he said that when we started the war everyone was for it (the vote in Congress wasn’t even close) and the CIC POTUS shouldn’t be second guessed by opinion polls as soon as things get a bit tough.

In order to believe that, or the same about Syria, you would have to stupidly assume the United States stopped all surveillance of Iraq’s borders with Syria and Jordan in the weeks before we launched an invasion.

Does Mike Huckabee, and the rest of the “there are WMDs in Syria” crowd really think our military is so stupid they wouldn’t bother keeping track of sudden movements of enemy personnel and equipment into neighboring countries where counteroffensives could be launched?
