Huckabee: Saddam's WMD Probably Went to Jordan
youtube ^ | January 24,2008 | Veracifier

After stating in last nights republican debate that "Just because you didn’t find every Easter egg didn’t mean that it wasn’t planted”, Mike Huckabee went on to claim that Saddams WMD may have gone to Jordan.

This youtube video is of Huckabee on Chris Mathews sticking with the Jordan claim.

I would have thought that he would have picked up some basic geography from all that Bible reading.

Great now we have to invade the land of the Amalekites.

I couldn’t believe it when I heard that last night. Jordan? He’d better make it a point to correct his error before the weekend or even his supporters might not take him seriously.

It’s also been said that after Iraq’s WMDs were transferred or secreted...and after Saddam fell, that in order to survive, some military officers sold some to terrorist cells...which could have ultimately ended up in Jordan AND Syria.

Yes, it was a very interesting comment that Huckabee did and I am very glad that he did not buy in the lie that Saddam did not have WMD or a WMD program.

Indeed ... we finally have someone bold enough to dissent from the "Saddam did not have WMD" mantra ... in other words, saying what we have been saying here on FR for years ... and all we get here are Huckleberry Hound jokes.

The Huck hatred has become completely irrational.

Which other candidates, Dem or GOP, will publicly acknowledge the possibility that Saddam did indeed have WMD that were hidden and moved?

Jordan or Syria? To Syria through Jordan? Who knows? There were some reports linking WMD and Jordan as someone noted above ... maybe he meant to say Jordan, not Syria. Regardless ... if Fred or Mitt had said anything like this, the FR groupthink choir would be praising them for their courage.

The current King & Queen of Jordan seem to be raising their children in very western ways. He was schooled in the United States, and has even created and opened the first “American”ized boarding school in Amman this past year.

My eyes are always open, but they seem like they are enjoying bringing a bit of America to their country.

When I am flamed, please be gentle with me. I’m sick in bed with the flu.

Yep, someone that is West friendly and also has the ability to unite the world’s Muslims under his rule. Very dangerous.

Yes, but what does a radical Muslim think of his more western ways? Look at how untraditional his wife is. Walk the walk comes to mind. So he brings the west to Jordan but leads the Muslim world to hate and destroy the west? It doesn’t make sense.

If I can't google it, I can't get there.

Jordan, Syria, one of tham-thar A-Rab countries...

Sheesh, between this and McCain on Putin I wonder how many of these clowns really do bother to educate themselves.

it would be more probable for Saddam's WMD to end up in ISRAEL than to end up in Jordan!

Huckabee is a *really* scary guy... Jimmuh Cartah was at least was intelligent, if secretly an America-hating Communist.

I am really disgusted with the hate the freepers have against each other candidate. Now, if you ask them they will never call it hate but they call it "criticism", the hypocrisy that I see lately on this forum is shocking. What many people here do not understand is the following:

1. They are an extremely small minority in the Republican base even if they are a majority on FR.

2. They simply are not seeing the extreme danger of having a democrat in the White House and many would not give a damn if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama are elected as long as McCain, Huckabee, Romney, or Guiliani are not President, very sad indeed.

The good news is that point # 1 that I made before will make point #2 meaningless.

Do you really believe that McCain thinks that Putin is the President of Germany?! It was a clear slip of the tongue as he said he met Putin in Germany and that is true and then went on to say Putin the President of Germany which is a very understandable slip of the tongue.

Also what Huckabee said about Saddam WMD going to Jordan is a slip of the tongue but at least he was brave enough not to buy the liberal lie that Saddam did not have WMD or WMD programs.

Why didn’t he just say “hiding Easter eggs?” You know, like Saddam hiding his WMDs?
