Blacks Stung By Bill Clinton's Remarks
The Washington Post via CBS ^ | Jan. 25, 2008 | Darryl Fears.

For nearly two decades, Yvette Wider, an African American, adored Bill Clinton, once described by a famous black novelist as the nation's first black president.

But now, after Clinton's "fairy tale" remark about Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) in New Hampshire and a statement in South Carolina that Obama had put a political "hit job" on him, Wider said she feels she hardly knows the former president. "I was surprised to hear him make a comment like that, because I thought he understood our people better," said Wider, who said she will vote for Obama in Saturday's South Carolina primary. "It made me think he's been playing us all this time."

Wider's sentiments are echoing across black America -- on blogs, Web chats and talk radio, where Clinton is being attacked as never before.

(The Democrats) have been doing it since the end of the CIVIL WAR

I think they've only been doing it since FDR.

Yes, Senator Byrd , is spared because he is one of them and that makes it okay.

"I thought he understood our people better."

Oh, he understands quite well, Yvette. Make no mistake about that.

"It made me think he's been playing us all this time."

You don't mean it!

"Hillary’s candidacy is a 'shakespearean tragedy' "

Or a comedy of errors.

Odd, isn’t it, that Barack Obama campaigned for the reelection of said former recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan.

And they’ll instantly forget every bit of this melodrama when Hillary picks Obama for Veep.

It would show amazing maturity and emotional development if she were to pick Barack because she hates him and would kill him today if she knew she could get away with it.

I see no comedy in the Clintons, not even a comedy of errors. Gore was a comedy of errors, John Kerry was a comedy of errors, but the Clintons are a tragedy, a blight on America.

Welcome to reality. Millions of us have been trying to tell "your people" this for over a decade. The Clintons represent the Democrat party to the "T" - playing race for all its worth, all for votes and power, with no real love or concern for "your people". If you will take a deeper look, you will find that you have been betrayed by not just the Clintons, but by all the race-baiting, class warfare whores including Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all their ilk.

Time to sober up and see the real world. Of course, it appears that there is a sizable number of Republican voters who need a reality check as well...

Apparently she knew Monica Lewinsky and her sexual encounters with Bill Clinton.

Mahoney was gay. It was never determined exactly whose sexual misconduct among the Clintons she was about to tell the world.

This would not even be an issue if Barack Obama was not running for president..If it was just Hillary or some other criminal democrat these people would still vote for them..They never believed us when we told them the Clintons hate blacks and call them names behind their backs ..Now that Hillary thinks that she will be the next president she has the pervert out there saying anything..he wants..Hillary just remember we do not like you and now the blacks are seeing your true colors..but then it would not matter..

“If Hillary wins the nomination who do you think they will vote for. The blacks will never change trains.”

I pray that black Americans all wake up and realize that the democrat party is the plantation party. That party believes it’s OK to buy their votes with social programs, but not give them real power. As long as they accept that black Americans will never truly be free.

For us white folk, the democrat party is not the plantation party. We don’t have that cultural reference of plantation life. For us it’s the collective farm.

Same effect; socialist slavery.

But ultimately I fear you are correct; black American race hustlers control the national media presentation of racisim & conservatism as going hand-in-hand. They are slave traders who have no interest in leading their people out of Egypt.

I hope you’re right but I’m not so sure they won’t vote 9 of 10 for the Democrat nominee in November.

What a shame that it took this long for them to see what was so evident all along. This man is a fool, a charlatan, who will say whatever to whomever to get your vote. He played the race card over and over again and blacks bought it hook, line and sinker. When will they realize the Democrats are not for the little man, for the poor man, for the downtrodden. They are for the powerful, for control, and they attain that by catering to the rich, white liberals who have absolutely NO regard for the poor and their plight. If you doubt that, go to the public records and see how many rich people donate to the Democrats. Far more, including the Hollywood elitists, donate to Democrats than to Republicans. Perhaps it would be good for blacks to finally look at the possibility that maybe, just maybe, the Republicans have a better plan. When you realize what they have done to you, maybe you can get out and make it on your own, WITHOUT Bill Clinton, who really “feels your pain”. SURE! When you do, you will find yourself and you will be proud of what you have accomplished. You can do ANYTHING your mind can conceive and you don’t need a government check to make it happen. To EVERY crisis, the Democrat way is throw more money and keep them groveling for more. That way, they can insure their power will go unabated. PLEASE consider what the Democrats are doing to you and make this most important step to the Republicans. Republicans have made a lot of mistakes, but they offer the best hope for black America.

Wasn’t it that way until JFK in 1960?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I believe it was Lyndon Johnson who concocted the scheme of
corralling them by the War on Poverty tactic. He has been quoted as saying something like, “We’ll have those darkies voting Democrat for a hundred years”. In my humble opinion Johnson didn’t have an honest bone in his body and could not have cared less about helping anybody, white or black. He just wanted power.
