Club for Growth goes after McCain TRIBUNE-REVIEW by Salena Zito Posted January 24, 2008 10 :38 PM BOCA RATON, Fla. -- During the debate, the Club for Growth sent out an e-mail criticizing one of John McCain’s answers.

The e-mail highlighted McCain's statement that he voted against the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts “because I knew, unless we had spending under control, we would face a disaster.”

Preventing McCain or Huckabee from being the nominee may be the best strategy at the moment.

Why would you want to derail Huckabee? I mean, heck, didn't you like the "trickle up" and "build a wider road in the south east stimulus package" pandering?
