NY Times Primary Choices: John McCain

We have strong disagreements with all the Republicans running for president. The leading candidates have no plan for getting American troops out of Iraq. They are too wedded to discredited economic theories and unwilling even now to break with the legacy of President Bush. We disagree with them strongly on what makes a good Supreme Court justice.
Still, there is a choice to be made, and it is an easy one. Senator John McCain of Arizona is the only Republican who promises to end the George Bush style of governing from and on behalf of a small, angry fringe. With a record of working across the aisle to develop sound bipartisan legislation, he would offer a choice to a broader range of Americans than the rest of the Republican field.

Sure, the NY Slimes like McCain. And the odds that they would endorse McCain in the general election are zero. Their endorsement isn’t worth the fish wrap it’s printed on.

Lol, I have an old gif of Osama in his cave asking if he should send the New York Times flowers, or ‘perhaps a nice bottle of wine’.

Anyone who thinks that the NYSlimes would endorse a real conservative has a severe mental problem, is in serious denial, or is just not adult enough to admit when they are wrong.

I have a feeling the NYT editorialists were thinking of Freepers when they penned that poison line.
Phooey. Nobody has been more angry and fringey for the last 6 years than the BDS left, including that crank Paul Krugman, who wasted NYTimes ink each week on antiBush screeds.

Everyone knows that Rush has not endorsed any Republican or anyone else for the nomination
Keeping comments simple and honest and not clipped out of transcript or quote is usually a smart thing for politicians or anyone else
Nothing is hidden or spun on the internet - the mass of ignorant voters may buy it from the MSM or Huckabee or the Klintoons - Little ever slips by me
