Yup, I finally have it back. The bad news is that they reformatted the hard drive and I have to reload the data back onto the machine.
I was having a problem with Office. My school now has a site license for Office 2003 that teachers can take home, which is better than the standard version that I have the disk for somewhere. Anyway, finally fixed the problem. It's working.

WooHoo!! Been there, done that last month. Yes, we can fix your computer, yes, we were able to save all your stuff, but....we will have to do a clean install. You will have to reload all your programs.
Did you know ahead of time about the reformat?
