Ahead of time as in last month, no. Last week, yes.
They would've called first to get my okay (they said), whereupon I would've had to grab it from them to do a backup of the data. I hadn't backed it up before going because I hadn't realized how thoroughly screwed up the PC was.
Anyway, I had my Ire stoked (they don't call it Ireland for nuddin', y'know) after about 5 "we hope to have it by" days had come and gone that I got a free backup of all my data which they usually change a bazillion dollars and 4 cents plus tax to do. They messed part of that up. I'm have trouble loading some of the data of the DVDs they gave me. So far, I've lost a PPT presentation that was no longer useful anyway and at least one pic of my daughter from a few years ago (which I probably have another digital copy of -- but I haven't gotten to that yet).
It'll be a busy weekend.
