I see a bit of Reagen in Huck and Mitt, Huck has the ease with the crowd, and Mitt has that air of optimism that Reagen had, but neither one spent the years working the lecture circuit and commenting on the issues of the day in a way that Conservatives could believe that Ronald Reagen did.
For kicks, I listen to Reagen’s “A Time for Choosing” speech and it still resonates today, he wasn’t what many people try to make him out to be.
I’ve just got to link to that speech:

I’m glad he was our President.
I would be nice if your d*** a** would spell his name right.
Thanks.
I don’t like Huck, but I feel like he would definitely get down and dirty with the Clintons. I don’t think he would hesitate to remind everyone of their criminal past. I’m not sure Romney would do that and that must be done to defeat them.
Thanks for the link. I remember being back at the barracks and watching his speeches. We all knew he would fight for us, and he knew we would fight for our country.
A nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master, and deserves one.
