Thanks Walter. It’s pretty much as I suspected. My primary vote is done here but I’ll consider sending a few bucks to Huck.

Given the 'fine' print that Hunter gets access to and he had a son in the military in Iraq and Saddam... who was purchasing armaments from this particular... Chinese company, (I am guessing here, against the supposed rules of the UN sanctions) does not exactly make Romney capitalistic desires above the appearance of ill gotten gains, given his own children are serving him on the campaign trial.....I can't make heads nor tales of what you're trying to say.

I think the reason has more to do with envy than anything else. Romney appears to Hunter and some of the rest of the field to have lived a charmed life. Romney proved his capabilities with his company and the Olympics before he ventured into politics. He managed to win a governorship and had enough personal wealth to maintain his campaign during some rough times. I’d loved to have been a fly on the wall of some of those Motel 6’s and heard the conversations about Romney between the Huckster and Hunter.

I’d say he thinks Huckabee is the lesser of the evils. Well, I don’t agree. I don’t think there is a lesser evil in this bunch.
I’ve kicked around a few ideas of what I’ll do come November. I’ve boiled it down to not voting for President or write in.

So if Hunter’s supporters got their wish and he was elected President...
What does this choice say about the kinds of decisions President Hunter would make regarding his cabinet and the Supreme Court?
Freepers projected qualities on Hunter he doesn’t have.

Huckabee about-face on smoking
http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/huckabee-about-face-on-smoking-2008-01-16.html
From the article at the link:
In 2004, Romney signed Massachusetts sweeping law that outlawed smoking in bars and restaurants but backing for that law does not necessarily signify support for a federal law.
—snip—
Despite Huckabees claim that the Arkansas law bans smoking in all workplaces, there are exceptions, such as for restaurants and bars that only admit patrons who are at least 21 years old.
Who is the bigger anti-smoking NAZI?
To: Prokopton
I agree....what I got out of his reasoning was that he was ticked that he sent Romney memos about his concerns..even brought it up at the debates and was basically ignored. So now he is “getting him back” by supporting Huckabee. I don’t think the idea of not doing business with China is feasible.

Who is the bigger anti-smoking NAZI? They both sound bad. Is this the best we got to offer? From my viewpoint - all of the candidates smell. I have to choose one that smells the least. Some choice.

My guess is that Hunter knows a lot more then he can say publicly.
