Its the latter.
Romney was for abortion, before he was against it.
Romney was for gun control, before he joined the NRA in 2007.
Romney was for comprehensive immigration reform, before he was against it.
Romney was for gay rights, before he was against it.
Romney has no conviction. He's a phony.
Do you know how John Gotti and Mitt Romney differ?
...
....
.....
Gotti has at least ONE conviction!
Clinton’s talking points?
Well that leaves off McCainiac and the Huckster.
"Reagan Man" must refer to someone other than the gipper, because otherwise your post makes no rational sense.
Reagan was for abortion, before he was against it.
"With the right to bear arms comes a great responsibility to use caution and common sense on handgun purchases," Mr. Reagan said at a gathering at George Washington University marking the 10th anniversary of the attempt on his life by John W. Hinckley Jr. "And it's just plain common sense that there be a waiting period to allow local law-enforcement officials to conduct background checks on those who wish to purchase handguns."
Reagan was not only for comprehensive immigration reform, he is the ONLY PRESIDENT IN OUR LIFETIME TO SUPPORT AND SIGN AN AMNESTY BILL.
Romney was for gay rights, before he was against it. So Romney cannot be allowed to change his views over time? Both Reagan and Romney are big-tenters, there is nothing wrong with this. Judges should be the big question mark here for Romney. He needs to convince us he'll follow the Bush strategy of nominating "strict Constitutionalist" judges. If he does that, he'll be much better for the nation than Reagan ever was with regard to the courts.
Romney has no conviction. He's a phony.
Was Ronald Reagan a phony with no conviction either?
