Romney was for gay rights, before he was against it. So Romney cannot be allowed to change his views over time? Both Reagan and Romney are big-tenters, there is nothing wrong with this. Judges should be the big question mark here for Romney. He needs to convince us he'll follow the Bush strategy of nominating "strict Constitutionalist" judges. If he does that, he'll be much better for the nation than Reagan ever was with regard to the courts.

There isn't one issue that Romney can say he has a record of consistent conservatism, or one issue where he's taken a long term principled stand. Not one. If you knew your political history, you wouldn't be making such a fool of yourself.
