FORT WORTH — So much for aliens in Texas dairy country.
At least that's what the military said today, reporting that 10 F-16 fighter jets were training in the Stephenville area the night dozens of residents reported seeing a UFO.
Although Air Force Reserve officials at the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station in Fort Worth initially said none of their planes were in the area Jan. 8, they said today that they had made a mistake and wanted to set the record straight "in the interest of public awareness."
Some residents aren't buying it, though, saying the military's revelation actually bolsters their claims because several reported seeing at least two fighter jets chasing an object.
"This supports our story that there was UFO activity in that area," said Kenneth Cherry, the Texas director of the Mutual UFO Network, which took more than 50 reports from locals at a meeting last weekend. "I find it curious that it took them two weeks to 'fess up. I think they're feeling the heat from the publicity."
From well-respected business owners to a county constable, several dozen people swear that what they saw was larger, quieter, faster and lower to the ground than an airplane. They also said the object's lights changed configuration, unlike those of a plane.
"I guarantee that what we saw was not a civilian aircraft," Steve Allen, a pilot and freight company owner, said today.
Allen said that the planes' training area in the Brownwood Military Operating Area that includes Stephenville's Erath County does not include the airspace where he saw the object. Also, Jan. 8 was not the only day sightings were reported.
Anne Frazor, who owns a fabric store in Stephenville, about 70 miles southwest of Fort Worth, said many in town have seen military aircraft zoom overhead from time to time as part of training operations. But she said that is different than what she saw Jan. 8.
"I couldn't begin to say what it was, but to me it wasn't planes," Frazor said.
Since the reported sightings two weeks ago, the 17,000-resident town has had some fun with the international publicity. Some high-schoolers made T-shirts that read "Stephenville: the new Roswell" on the front and "They're here for the milk!" on the back. A picture features flying saucer beaming up a cow.
This week Tarleton State University is even hosting a lecture by a UFO researcher on the U.S. government's secret response to UFOs, based on previously classified documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
The U.S. Air Force says it has not investigated UFO sightings since 1969 when it ended Project Blue Book, which examined more than 12,600 reported UFO sightings — including 700 that were never explained. That program started a few months after the 1947 crash near Roswell, N.M., which the government said it was a top-secret weather balloon but others involved later said was an alien spacecraft.
"What we want is the government to admit there are UFOs and what they know about them," Cherry said.

Interesting read. All things created were created by Him. Man’s work in the beginning was to name those things created. Naming is a process of identifying and expressing the meaning of the object being named in appropriate context. So, through faith in Christ, what name best describes these persons so involved in hidden agenda, but lurking to expose a tempting revelation?
Sorry . . . I don’t think I’m following precisely who you are speaking of on which side.
I assume there are some in the enemy’s camp biding their time at God’s direction . . . to expose evil doers. I’d consider them very hazardous duty patriots etc.
But the nature of the evil camp is such that it would take constant moment by moment miracles of God to keep such recon folks hidden.

Sorry, I wasn’t very clear in my object. The fellow at the UN who supposedly was “a source” or “in the know” seemed to avoid directly answering questions regarding the Texas UFO reports, then contacted his seniors, then appears to confide in his two confidants regarding his limited authority to explain the situation.
For myself, the clue of questionable intent isn’t that the fellow appears to be confidently revealing information while seeming to respect another authority, rather his allowing others to follow of trail of faith in his knowledge. IMHO, those who are not faithful to God through Christ, might still very well respect authority from another worldly system as a counterfeit to God’s Plans, even to the point of paranoia of anybody else being cognizant of ongoing operations.

The ET was recovered live from a UFO crash high in the Andes 33 years ago by the locals who tried to nurse it to health but which died quickly from serious injuries. They then hid the body away for all these years.

The doubters and willfully ignorant who consider this topic as beneath their IQ and splendid knowledge and wisdom are in for some serious surprises of their own. Our era will have much more than it’s share of surprises . . . for all of us.
But those who tend to scoff and mock out of hand about anything that doesn’t fit their personal constructions on reality are likely in for the biggest surprises. Some will go maddly insane because of that. Some will become hopelessly catatonic for significant periods of time.
Some will lose their anemic faith.

I don’t think optical illusion was the problem with a craft a mile long and a half mile wide 300’ above one . . . so large one couldn’t at first see the edges of it.
Watched an episode of UFO Hunters last night. Interesting.
Concerned a UFO sighting similar to the Phoenix incident but in Upper NJ and Staten Island, NY. Not sure of the timeline but I think maybe last Fall.
There was a purported adduction involved.
Also an episode of UFO Files last week had cockpit voice recordings of pilots reporting UFOs. Fascinating.

UFO Spotted tonight! My nephew has spotted a UFO approximately 1:15AM Pacific time and watched it for 45 minutes before it seemed to land in the South Western sky. Location Springfield, Oregon. I am typing out this for him as he described it to me over the phone just after it happen. Object looked more celestial, like a glowing orb or plasma like. Pulsing multi colors red, blue, yellow, white mainly. At time is would stay all Blue then start over the pattern red, blue, yellow, white. The height of the object appeared to be approximately 400ft-1000 Ft or lower at one point. It Swirled around in a zigzag motion. We believe there is more then one, as the digital camera picked up more oddities on the ground as well. Object moved slowly and had no noise. We are getting the photos off the camera now and I will be posting them soon as possible.

This was probably military but quite frankly, I don’t see what the big deal is in having Extraterrestrials here is.
God did’t creat 100 billion galaxies each with 60 million plus Earth type planets and only put life on one.
Our Earth is 5 Billion years old. This universe is 15 Billion. 10 Billion years of time came before us.
It would be a virtual impossiblity for Extraterrestrials not to be here.

Yup, I told the wife the same thing several years ago, I think after MIB came out. A fictional movie, even a comedy,will soften the blow later on when reality strikes.Even the TV serials like Enterprise, STNG, Stargate seems to be doing the same thing. One seasons episodes was about an attack on earth with 7 million fatalities. Of course it was fiction but so was Orwell’s 1984 when it was written.
I think that there are too many videos of “things” from “x” number of years ago, etc. It’s too easy to fake a movie now so I have decided that movies no longer are proof of anything. Visual sight is personal confirmation but, genetic material cannot be faked (yet) so IMO it is the last bastion of “proof” witout walking a live one out onto a stage or having a UFO land on the front lawn of the WH. :o)
