Which terrible candidate do you think Hunter should have endorsed instead?

Same as me...none of the above.

Would he have given us an analogous surprise as president were he elected?

This is hilarious.

I cannot wait to watch this thread explode.

First the minutemen and now Hunter.

It’s time for a reality check paleocons. Fred’s out. Hunter’s endorsing Huck.

This is going to leave a mark.

LMAO, priceless!

So, it turns out that Mr. Hunter isn’t a real conservative after all.

“Hunter is strongly pro-life and Huckabee is also strongly pro-life. Hunter is very worried about China - Huckabee is the only remaining candidate who seems to share any of his concerns about China.”

Bull.

Only Paul will end our addiction to debt.

Then we would stop funding our debt by selling it to China.

China is buying us - with our own stupid greed for gubmint handouts.

Romney, at least HE is a Republican. Instead he picked Jimmy Carter.

Huckabee/Hunter is a fairly conservative ticket...hmmm

I think I'd be ok with that ticket. I was with Hunter from the start and had high hopes for Fred. At this point Huckabee actually looks good in comparison to the rest of the sorry crowd - and that's really saying something.

Guess I'll have to duck now, huh? :)

WTF? I want my money back Duncan.

I’ll be voting for Romney if and only if he doesn’t choose either Huckabee or McCain for VP.

Did Duncan Hunter just put Huckabee under the microscope?

I am shocked at this actually.

It doesn’t make sense at all.

Better that he didn’t endorse anyone.

Well, he better have a second choice.

Huskster is broke.

“everyone has to pick the parts of the conservative message that are most dear to them.”

That’s how I’m seeing it. My big issues at present are winning the war, pro-life, fiscal responsibility, pro-gun rights.

#1 is winning the war. Who do I think would be best sitting across from Achmadidnahjubbawhatever? McCain or Rudy. I really trust them on this issue. No matter where they stand or what they do in any other arena, I totally trust them as commander in chief.

#2 is pro-life. So far, McCain is the only candidate who hits 1 and 2.

Yet, the tidal wave of opinion on FR seems to be that McCain is a bad guy. Rush doesn’t like him. So I don’t know what to do.

Huckabee, I just can’t see him on the world stage dealing with Putin and Kim Jong Mentally Ill. Also he is a big tax and spender.

Romney, he might hold his own on the world stage, but he doesn’t seem to be top tier to me. I wonder about his conversion to pro-life and pro-gun issues. I do think he’d be decent on running things. I am afraid of social programs.

COME BACK FRED

People have a choice, blame themselves for picking a loser or blame the loser for not being a better candidate.

I blame others who are not as smart as I to be able to clearly see who is the best candidate.

Well, if he wanted the VP spot, he should have endorsed someone else as most of us think Huck can’t possibly make it.

If VP was his goal, he should have just shut his mouth and waited a little longer. This was NOT a smart political move.
