It’s actually a public service that these whack jobs dress and act like they do-it saves the rest of us the time and trouble of mistaking them for human beings. It’s like wearing a sign that says “Warning! Whacko in the area!”
Yes the are obviously so messed up it is an attractive aesthetic to consider them as less then human. But in all seriousness that is an ill begotten attitude to take towards anyone. Rather, it is precisely because they are human that their behavior is bothersome.
It is similar to the backwards baseball cap but more colorful. They are badges of nincompoopery. When you see them you are not tempted to say anything to them because they wear their warnings. You know that there is nothing you could say that would be understood and nothing they can say that you want to hear.
