Indeed.
I am glad that most Romney backers are being gracious. They realize they won by default, not on the strength of their arguments. If that was the case they would have won a few months ago and been the majority here at that point.
Winning by forfeit and being a$$es about it does little for me.

I'm more glad that Romney himself was gracious about it. That's far more than can be said for Huckabee, whose juvenile response was to complain that Fred didn't drop out earlier.
I'm not among those Thompson supporters who have moved over to Romney, but it does speak well of the man.

The problem with your argument is that it’s based a false premise.
Mitt is not winning by “forfeit.”
Who forfeited? Mitt has won the overwhelming majority of conservative/Republican votes in every primary so far.
Also - the standard you set for “being a$$es” is to dispute/confront Romney bashing.
Nice try - but your debate tactics aren’t washing.

Your Hayley Barbour tagline reminds me of an expansion /alternate reality version of the game civilization III, where you got to defend the continental United States against invasion by Russia, Mexico, Cuba, Iraq and China. The default president in the scenario?
Alan Keyes.
It was a blast to play. Of course, I had to use lots of nuclear weapons in-country to win, the radioactive cleanup took me the remainder of the game and beyond.
