It is called evolution and it is exactly what transpired with Reagan....only to a much greater degree with him.

Reagan's conversion did not coincide with a run for a different office.

Why don’t you grow up, do some research and posts truths here on FR. Something that we might actually benefit from.

Why don't you quit the bullcrap? You ain't fooling anyone other than those who choose to be fooled. Mitt's shifting positions are public record. Only unprincipled spinners try to pretend otherwise. Mitt has no core values that I can see from his political history. They change and adapt for the particular seat he is seeking.

There you go again with your lies and distortions. Mitt has always been conservative. Do some research and get back to me.

“Mitt has no core values”

You are spinning and/or have simply decided to ignore the real Romney life story and record. Go to #313. 80% of whats on that 1994 campaign agenda is aligned with what he is running on today. The only real difference is abortion. He has a core fiscal conservative and law-and-order conservative philosophy and is a genuine pro-family traditional values guy. He’s a mainstream Republican who ran squishy on abortion and gay rights to survive in a blue state, and has had to live down that. But he was consistently against gay marriage. He admittedly is not perfect on guns, but he did get a B from the NRA in 2002 and signed proguns bills as governor, and btw neither was GWB perfect, they both favor the AWB.

That’s it. A prety solid mainstream Republican who will be solid on taxes, spending, judges, marriage, and the GWOT and wont be a RINO like McCain on key issues such as immigration and environment.

Yet you overstate and exaggerate the issues Mitt Romney has. He’s not a panderer any more than the other candidates like McCain and Huckabee and Rudy are. He’s flipflopped less than Huckabee and McCain has done at least as much as Romney.

So let’s just say back at ya: Why don’t you quit the bullcrap?

Let’s talk about the real Mitt Romney, based on the real facts and his real record, not slap-dash off-hand dismissal s of his character based on the anti-Mitt distortions that are floating around. He’s not a 100% conservative, but he’s not bad at all and is a darned sight better than McCain or Huck, and will be a smart, articulate formidable candidate to take on the Hildabeast.

So let’s support him.
