All Fred accomplished was to ruin the chances of a Duncan Hunter and give the public time to forget McCAin Amnesty

I don't agree on all your political positions but on the above I agree: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. This forum should have supported Hunter, yet a little less than a year ago, moved en masse into the F. Thompson camp. Now Hunter's chance for even a VP slot is ruined.

“I don’t agree on all your political positions “

Honey, I don’t even agree on all my political positions! LOL, I’m certainly not above changing my mind when necessary.

People obviously are upset their candidate didn't make it and feel alienated by the GOP. If they support a GOP candidate in the generals or stay home, that is their right. Silly suggestions that their no-vote is a vote for Hillary or Obama, is just more of the same twisted logic that brought us to the situation in which we (Conservatives) now find ourselves. I would suggest giving these people some breathing room. I posted this when I found myself in the very same situation.

Conservatives are smart. I look forward to the day when I can apply that adjective to a majority of the GOP electorate. They get so caught up in the race and who is ahead and who the media “thinks” has a chance, that they allow the media and others to distort and/or define the “finish line”. They choose champions for their causes who have never taken up the sword and fought for that cause. Their reliance is upon empty words soon to become broken promises and cowardice disguised as compromise. They speak of reality as reason, but will refuse to own that reality after the deed is done. Try to find a Californian who voted for Arnie and that should leave nothing to doubt.
