Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

I haven’t watched Fox in well over a month. It’s been good.

I’m still going to write in Cobra Commander. Other than the 7” Block of Styrofoam, he’s the only candidate I trust.

Duncan dropped out last week.
He's still in the mix if there is a brokered convention.

You may not see it yet, but ROMNEY is the NEW REAGAN.REAGAN?
I'm not even sure that ROMNEY is the "NEW ROMNEY" at this point.
To: WOSG
McCain as nominee = focus on other things, let the RINOs help him win.
I'm with you on that.
Any idea on what's with Guiliani? Will Fred supporters go to him or Romney?

You do realize that most Americans want the troops to come home, right? As do I, only victoriously so, not by running away.

You build from the BOTTOM UP, not the top down.YEP. Crater the damn thing and start over. "Throw the bastards out", that should be the theme this year.

I think the States that had early Primaries, and allowed Independents to vote for a Republican nominee are to blame for this.
No Fred is to blame. He ran the worst campaign in history. Stop passing blame elsewhere instead of the source. Even Fred would be pissed off at you passing the buck.
To: AuntB
At this point, Id just as soon vote for Paul as anyone else. At least wed have change and it would be fun to watch. All Fred accomplished was to ruin the chances of a Duncan Hunter and give the public time to forget McCAin Amnesty, and I dont believe it was an accident. Fred proved one thing. He was never in this race to win, so why was he there?
I agree with you. I was disappointed when Fred got in the race--both him and Tancredo. Without those two sucking up the oxygen, Hunter may have had a shot.
We'll never know now. The media has successfully annointed the GOP candidate.

Romney can win a national election. What is not being talked about is the fact Romney can flip Michigan into our column and that he got HUGE numbers in Nevada which is a swing state.
The electoral map is shifting a bit for 2008. The Republican may carry more Northern, Western states, NH, MI, NV, and Dems may carry a Southern state if Obama wins.

Time for a conservative party Why? If conservatives couldn't win in the GOP primaries, then what makes you think they can win in a 3rd party?
To: GeorgiaDawg
I think they will. Much more than they’ll oppose a RINO. We’ve seen that example the last few years. The Republicans in Congress didn’t follow the first Clinton blindly, like they’ve been following Bush.
